Be Cool: Navigating Life, Literature, and Mental Health with Shashi Warrier

Shashi Warrier, a BITS Pilani alumnus (Pilani, '76), is a versatile writer known for his gripping thrillers, thought-provoking fiction, and powerful explorations of human nature. His journey spans literature, education, personal growth, and geopolitics. With acclaimed works like Hangman's Journal, The Homecoming, and his latest novel, My Name is Jasmine. Mr. Warrier has tackled themes ranging from justice and violence to trauma and identity. His reflections on life, war, and writing reveal the heart behind the words and offer a deep insight into the ideas that shape his work.

Coaching Across Cultures: Brajesh Bajpai's Journey of Learning, Leading, and Adapting

Dr Brajesh Bajpai graduated from BITS Pilani (Pilani, '92) with a degree in Civil Engineering and is also a gold medalist in MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. He is an accomplished Executive Coach with EMCC Senior Practitioner accreditation, and possibly India's only life and executive coach with a Coaching & Mentoring Doctorate from Oxford Brookes. He also holds a Cambridge Coaching Diploma, and an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge (HULT University). He has 15 years of coaching experience with over 500 clients globally and a successful professional career of over 29 years across 4 industries in 5 countries and 3 continents with organizations like Pepsi, FritoLays, Marico and Vodafone.

BITS Alumni Association (BITSAA) International is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in New Jersey whose principal aim is to strengthen the ties, friendship and communication amongst students, alumni, faculty and friends of the Institute. It provides a number of channels for people to stay connected with each other and with Birla Institute of Technology & Science.

BITSAA International also engages in charitable and educational activities by raising funds for setting up endowments, creating scholarships,rewarding teaching and research and generally promoting the development of resources at Birla Institute of Technology and Science at Pilani, Dubai, Goa & Hyderabad campuses.BITSAA International has over 18,000 BITS Alumni worldwide as its members.
